As the sun reached to top of the sky, mid-day fell upon the village of Konoha. The streets were filled with people going about there everyday lives. Children ran about, playing with each other, while the adults attended to their everyday duties. Itachi Uchiha, a bright and promising young man from the Uchiha Clan, exited the Konoha apartment complex and began to walk the streets of Konoha. While on his walk, an old lady in front of the flower shop spotted him and smiled.

 

Old Lady - “Well, if it isn’t Itachi. I hear schools about to start soon. Rumor has it your expected to be top of your class. The pride of the Uchiha Clan they say.”

 

Itachi - “I’ll do my best ma’am.”

 

Old Lady - “Well I’m sure you’ll do just fine, Itachi.”

 

 Over hearing they’re conversation, a young man with yellow hair ran up to Itachi.

 

?????? - “So you’re Itachi, the one everyone’s been talking about. “

 

Itachi - “And you are…….”

 

?????? - “The names Naruto Uzimaki.  And I’m going to be the greatest ninja this village has ever seen.”

 

Itachi -”Is that so. Well, as nice as that is to hear. I have things to attend to.”

 

 Itachi then began to walk away. As he did Naruto ran up next to him and began to walk along side him.

 

Itachi - “Something I can help you with.”

 

Naruto - “Your going to train aren’t you?”

 

Itachi - “Why do you care?”

 

Naruto - “Cause if you think I’m going come second to you in the academy, you got another thing coming pal.”

 

Itachi - “Don’t you have something better to do, than waste my time.”

 

Naruto - “You got some nerve pal.  I should teach you a lesson in manners.”

 

Itachi - “The only one here that needs a lesson in manners is you. Didn’t your parents teach you any better?”

 

 Naruto stopped in his tracks and looked down with a gloomy face. Itachi stopped and turned his head,  to look at Naruto.

 

Naruto - “I have no parents….. In fact everyone in this village ignores me completely, like I’m some kind of freak. Meanwhile they praise you, call you the pride of Konoha. But I’ll show them, show them all that I, Naruto Uzimaki, is the greatest ninja of all Konoha!”

 

Itachi - “……..Whatever………..”

 

 Naruto stared on in frustration. As Itachi walked away. Moments later Itachi arrived to the ninja training on the outskirts of the village. As he arrived someone jumped out of the trees and landed in front of him.

 

Itachi - “Not you again. Isn’t there someone else you can bother.”

 

Naruto - “So, this is were you were headed. Well if its training you doing, count me in to. I wont fall behind to the likes of you.”

 

Itachi - “……Whatever………”

 

 Naruto walked up to the target dummies, and began training his target practice. Itachi walked off a ways and began his own training. The two worked endlessly to prepare for the upcoming school semester.

Meanwhile in The Hidden Village of the Sand………..

 

 As the sun began to set over the village. The people began finishing up their daily duties.  Gaara wandered the streets alone, as the people looked on with disgust and fear in their eyes.  As the people turned their back as he walked toward him, he found himself alone nest to the village training grounds.  Gaara knelt to the ground and put his hands on the ground, and he became enraged.  As he became enraged the earth beneath his hands, started to turn to sand. As the sand began to flow around his body a malicious grin appeared on his face. That night, Gaara stood on top a building looking over the village. Smiling Gaara muttered to himself.

 

Gaara - “I will fight for only myself and love only myself…………………”
